When are we active?
While we are primarily a European-based organization (CET and GMT), our reach is global. We have a strong presence of members in PST and EST timezones. No matter where you are in the verse, you'll likely find a fellow citizen awake and ready for deployment.
Serious RP or Casual Fun?
We believe in the "Best of Both" approach. Olaris is hardcore with Roleplay during our official military deployments; we maintain discipline and immersion when the mission is live. Outside of operations? We're just a group of guys messing about, joking around, and enjoying the verse.
New to Star Citizen?
Absolutely no problem. Many of our veteran pilots learned to fly right here in the Republic. We take pride in training new recruits and getting them combat-ready. Your skill level doesn't matter; your willingness to be part of the community does.
What about other games?
Playing in any specific game is completely optional. While Star Citizen is our main theater, we have wings in Dune, Satisfactory, and even casual hangouts in Minecraft or Roblox. Olaris is a community first; if you want to find someone to play with, you’ll find them here.
How do I level up?
Advancement in the Republic isn't a grind, it's about participation. Merits are earned simply by being around, engaging with the community, and contributing to the vibe. We value dedicated citizens who show up for their brothers and sisters.
Do I need my own ships?
The Republic relies on its fleet and each other. For major operations, we utilize multi-crew ships or provide specific vessels (like Gladius fighters for Idris ops) to those who don't have them. We pitch aUEC in to assist our own, no citizen is left grounded due to their hangar size.
Is it all "Radio Silence"?
Rarely. We love a good laugh in voice chat. We only enforce radio silence during massive, chaotic operations where clear communication is vital for survival. Most of the time, we're just having fun and enjoying the journey together.
